How do I create an account?
Download the app, enter your phone number, type the SMS code we send, then set a 6-digit passcode.
How long until my wallet is credited?
Usually within moments of your bank confirming the transfer. You get a notification when it lands.
What if a purchase fails?
If the provider confirms it failed, the amount returns to your wallet automatically. If you are unsure, contact support with the receipt reference.
Why do you ask for a BVN or NIN?
Only for your own permanent account number, as Nigerian banking rules require. A one-time account needs no ID check.
I lost my phone. What should I do?
Sign in on your new phone, which signs the old one out, and contact us so we can protect your account.
Will Payonetime ask for my passcode?
Never. We do not ask for your passcode or an SMS code by phone, message or email. Do not share them with anyone.
